Likes and Dislikes about Black Men

We love you when/because

You have madd swag like no other, switching from Tims to Business attire with such ease and sex appeal

You have “go-getter” mentalities in all aspects of life

You don’t have to ask us why we only wash our hair once per week

You don’t find our real hair/weaves/braids/locks/twists to be some freak of science

You can make love to the entire entity of us, or simply bang our backs out

You are forever in love with our thick hips, small waists, and ample bottoms

You appreciate our cooking over that of a restaurant

You are not afraid to check anyone on our behalves or yours

You take time out to be a father. That really turns us on.

You show us that vulnerable side of you that others will never see

You get on our nerves when/because

You are stubborn as all hell

You are masters at lying

You try to have sex with us after you have royally f*cked up

You try to flatter our panties off

Did I mention that you guys are stubborn as all hell?

You refuse to allow us to help you and “upgrade” you

The stupid games you play in love

You have honey dripped tongues that cause us temporary lacks of judgement (Have you ever dated a Naija man?!) LOL

You feed us BS and get mad when we reject it

You bottle up your true feelings for us and FINALLY tell us how you feel after it’s too late

My Plight

They say you are who you are when no one else is around…I’m just me

They say you are what you think…I think I’m the ish

I walk it like I talk it and I walk it like a model

I love being a Southern girl

I don’t think I could ever date a White guy. I need someone that appreciates my thick thighs and full bottom as much as I do

I have a crush on myself. I check me out every time I pass a mirror or anything reflective

Oddly enough…I’m bashful. LOL

Yes, I’m modest, but right now I am in one of my “I’m THAT chick” moods

We all have a thorn in our sides that we battle with…mine is lust

I always hear people say “You’re beautiful, you’re smart, you’re honest, and you’re sexy.”

I can cook like a true Southern woman. Smothered ribs, pork chops, chicken, rice, gravy from scratch, corn, sweet cornbread that’s buttered as soon as it comes from the oven, sweet potatoes, smothered potatoes, juicy rib eye steaks, seafood pastas…the list goes on

I speak eloquently, and I have been told I have a soothing voice on more than one occasion

I know how to dress for any occasion

I never ask anyone for money. I work for what I want, and if I can’t have what I want I would rather go without

I have nice hair and impeccable hygiene

I have a very healthy libido

I love to laugh, make out, and I don’t sleep in frumpy pajamas

Yet…I go to bed alone every night, yearning
